Their performance at Soulcrusher 2022 was a devastating one, and this is rocksolid proof of it. It also further cements Haloes In Reverse as one of my favourite atmospheric black metal tracks of all time - and its creators as one of if not the genre's top act altogether. Being insanely good and mesmerising, more Ultha is always better. Favorite track: Haloes In Reverse.

Peggyvanduyse I was there and it blew me then away. And now again. My favorite track gives me the strength I need, because I know 'der alte feind' Favorite track: Der Alte Feind (Jeder Tag Reißt Wunden).

sottosabbat Ultha are an intense band and this gig blew me away. I'm very glad it has been released as an live album because I still think about this show often. A must have! Favorite track: Rats Gorged The Moon...And All Fell Silent.

While Ofte jeg drømmer mig død will most likely always be my favourite Afsky album (being one ov my favourite albums in general), Om hundrede år ticks all the boxes I hoped it would: the calm and simultaneously depressing folk elements are there; the wailing screams of a forlorn spirit, forced to eternally wander the woods (apt comparison, deadpunk!); the harsh, bitterly cold guitar riffs and the ultimate realisation of life, death and our inevitable undoing. Exactly what I want. Recommended! David Fischer
